Project Description

At The Oaks Hotel, we stained and varnished the doors and windows on both the interior and exterior surfaces. We noticed that weather and age had caused the existing paint to flake, so we removed the old coatings with multiple sanders. Finally, we applied the proper stains and varnishes to achieve a fresh, updated look

Since the pub remained operational during our work, we used signage and targeted less-frequented areas during off-peak hours. We addressed busy areas after peak hours and completed some doors and windows in stages because we couldn’t finish them all at once. We matched the stain and varnish to the existing finish and used masking tape and signage to manage wet paint areas.
